Oysters Hawaiʻi’s mission is to provide exquisite oysters in an exciting and unforgettable way. The company also strives to increase accessibility of oysters to the people of Hawaiʻi, as well as restoring the once prominent oyster beds throughout the paeʻāina.

MEET ALLIE
Allie is the CEO of Oysters Hawai‘i and oversees the company strategy, investments, hiring and human resources. Allie graduated with honors as a Phi Beta Kappa member from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with a B.S. in Psychology and was Valedictorian at Kalani High School. She has traveled the world as a singer and international model and has been classically trained to sing opera since the age of five. She is a voting member of the Grammys, SAG-AFTRA, and Actors Equity. Allie is a former Miss Hawai‘i and Miss Hawai‘i USA and is honored to be the first person from Hawai‘i to compete both at Miss America and Miss USA. She strives to have a good shucking time in every aspect of life!
MEET HOPENA
Hopena is the President of Oysters Hawai‘i and is responsible for placing orders, sales, merchandise, finance and accounting. He is an avid waterman, licensed merchant mariner captain, Kamehameha Kapālama ‘12 alumnus, and graduated from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with a double major in International Business and Marketing. Having worked as a dishwasher, bus boy, server, and bartender for eight years, Hopena has insight into the food and service industry from all angles. He’s also not afraid to have a good shucking time!
MEET JULIE
Julie is the COO of Oysters Hawai‘i and helps with marketing, communication, and oversees the day to day operations. She graduated from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Minor in Communicology. Julie worked for the Department of Education for 8 years before transitioning into a small business owner. Julie is a former Miss Hawai‘i Teen USA and Miss Hawai‘i USA and had the privilege of competing at the Miss Teen USA and the Miss USA pageants. During her reign, she wrote and illustrated her first children's book, Curly the Dachshund. Her book was written to teach the importance of self-love to children. As a retired pageant queen, Julie dedicates her time serving as board member for Women Speak Out Hawai‘i where she is a spokesperson for raising awareness for teen dating violence. She is always down for a good shucking time!
